All in all I would have to say that as far as years go, 2018 was a very good year for me. There are still some things I would change, but all in all, I am thankful for all my blessings.

I really enjoyed my deep dive in to the Javascript this year. I spent a good amount sharpening my Node skills, learning how to better leverage Express and of course I wrote a lot of VueJS apps, some more entertaining that others. BillTrackr ended up being just a colossal todo app, but it was a lot of fun and I have some exciting ideas for Vue-RPG.

2018 was a pretty good year for me professionally as well. Adobe ColdFusion still pays my bills, but it was nice being able to apply the lessons I learned in Javascript and apply it in real world situations. It has been awesome sharing the new things I have been learning with co-workers and see them get as excited about it as I am.
